Realistic Smartphone Concept

Click to enlarge.

This is the concept phone is based on real existing technology that the world have in 2013. Since I'm not an electronic engineer, I have no idea weather all the technologies would fit it within the volume of 127mm x 65mm x 12mm.

The design is based on Sony Xperia ZR.

The specs are;
2.0 GHz quadcore s800
2 GB RAM
16 GB Internal memory
Micro-SD card slot
18 MP camera with 5x optical zoom
2.1 MP front camera with wide-angle lens.
3500 mAh battery

Sony has proven that it is possible to fit a 1/2.3" sensor with 5x optical zoom lens on a thin 12mm device. The model is Cyber-shot TX66. But whether or not this is only something that only Sony engineers can achieve, it is still proven possible.

With the thickness of 12mm, I chose to shrink the phone down to only 4.6" instead of 5" screen. This is so that the phone will not be too large to put into the pocket.

And with that thickness, (significantly thicker than flagship phones in 2013), hopefully this can provide more space for battery capacity.

Now, about the wide angle front camera, I like this idea ever since I know HTC One and HTC 8x has wide-angle lens on the front camera. It helps to make your face doesn't look too close to the camera when you're video chatting or self-shooting.
